William Gilmour also tried to extort a pregnant woman in Mississauga with an autistic child after her husband filed a 200 page complaint with 19 eye-witnesses to the Law Society and then stole the family home of her husband in a foreign jurisdiction where the man was denied his right to testify via video link. If one takes the time to look at the Win-Loss record of Atty. William Gilmour, you may be surprised to discover three things;
- Bill has NOT “won over 80% of my cases” (actual numbers are 47% as of 2021)
- All but 4 of his 127 wins (over 20 years) were before the same 2 corrupt judges
- He considers pleading guilty to a lesser charge a “win” even for innocent clients!
So don’t be fooled by his smooth and “impressive” sales pitch. He is indeed a smooth talker and loves to drop names of people he never even met like Chief Justice Patrick LeSage, Minister of Justice Nicholson, and depending on YOUR own political leanings, either Prime Minister Chretien, or Prime Minister Harper. He even falsely claimed that he was on Conrad Black’s legal team! He will never tell you about the time he was a murder suspect, and a defendant. Quite convenient eh?
Last but not least this wonderful lawyer Bill Gilmour was arrested for assaulting a 10 year old child on August 14th, 2001 in Brampton, Ontario, but the good news is that his drug and drinking issues are now a thing of the past. Although he managed to get adjudication withheld and the court file sealed at Tom Davis Courthouse, his arrest is still on file with the police.
